Not very good

We love Winnie the Pooh but neither me nor the kids enjoyed this book. The story about the two rival kings didn't seem well written. The kids complained it was "weird." We gave up halfway through. And I didn't like it anyway.

I liked the light hearted little story, and fact that it was free added to the charm. A A Milne wrote more that he ought to be famous for than just the Pooh bear stories.

Wonderful Fantasy book to read to yourself or aloud

This book is a wonderful story about a king, princess and an "evil" countess. The king, King Merriwig of Euralia, is in love with the Countess Belvane. Belvane has her sights set on becoming queen of Euralia. However, Princess Hyacinth is suspicious of how the countess acts. So the Princess enlists the help of Prince Udo from Araby. When Belvane finds out, she wishes for something humorous to happen to the prince on his journey - and it does! Now, Hyacinth must stop Belvane, help the prince all while keeping him from falling in love with the countess!

A. A. Milne has done it again with this story of pure fantasy. He did not write this book for children, as he states in his introduction, yet it is fun and exciting for all ages. If you need a great bedtime story, check this book out. Would you care for some light reading? "Once On A Time" is the book for you. I recommend this book with a happy heart and hope you will feel the same way too!

TOTALLY WORKS!!

I personally followed the advise in this book and went from totally bedfast, unable to move from my neck down, to jogging. It has
been 25 years since I did this and I have never had a recurrence of the RA. I am careful with my diet and eat mostly raw
fruits and vegetables, with appropriate whole grains, chicken, turkey, fish and occasional red meat. This book was and is a
Godsend and not accepted by the mainstream medical community who were doing nothing for me. I was on every medicine available at the time with no help. If you have RA, buy this book, follow the treatment and you will be forever greatful for the Doctor's work.

I bought "There is a Cure for Arthritis" because I want to have alternatives. Dr. Paavo Airola traveled all throughout Europe to become familiar with their different treatments. He discovered many small clinics and hospitals which offer natural treatments for arthritis: such as juice fasting, proper rest, exercise and other holistic treatments. Dr. Airola presents several testimonies of patients who received long term relief. The reason being, that these institutions are treating their patients with "Biological Medicine." He explains that biological methods are treating the person not the disease. Biological medicine tries to go to the root of the problem and give the body a chance to restore itself at the cellular level. Biological medicine agrees more with the first principle of the art of healing, which Hippocrates states as "Primum est nil nocere" - that treatment must not harm the patient.

A deliquent's own story

The Jack-Roller is one of the most famous studies carried out by the Chicago School of Sociology. It's a personal account by a young deliquent about the reasons for his criminality. The study brings us close to the motivations and the reasoning of a criminal and also paints a striking portrait of life in the inner city and the social inequalities present in the 1930's which are still persist nowdays.

Surprisingly, it is a very good book and an easy read (done in one day). A must-read for folks marrying someone with kids. Although the story starts out in the 1930's, the same dreadful situations and scenarios still applies today. A great book for social workers and police officers who deal with juvenile delinquency.

I got this book for an international marketing course I took. I found it to be an easy read and very insightful about the topics covered. The book covers the basics, from PESTEL analysis and market research techniques, to more complex topics like market selection and entry strategies. The textbook gives the reader tons of information about doing business internationally, including details about things like pricing decisions, product decisions, distribution decisions, etc. The book even covered topics like social media and its impact on global marketing, going above and beyond my expectations for a textbook on international marketing. Another perk is the "boxes" that are present throughout the chapters - these side texts apply chapter concepts to real examples to really drill the concept for maximal understanding. It is a must have for students looking to master the topic with a single textbook!

Extremely well-written book. I would recommend it for anyone interested in Global Business Development. Very well written. The book arrived way before I expected it to. You guys are simply amazing! One thing though...I thought I bought a hard cover book. I was a little surprised when I found out that it was a paper back. But, that's OK. Now, I just need to read it well enough for the exam and retain it. Interesting stuff though.

If you just want to read superficial thing, it is a good choice. It covers all topics but just touch them. Some of the information is misleading, especially the business stories outside of the US. Our class is from 5-6 countries, and we all found mistaken information concerning in our countries. I do not recommend it.
